Last day of 2008

Yesterday went to HPB for checkup first. Talk so much crap from 10 until 11. Ate super disgusting lunch at HPB then took 174 to school. Saw Zhen Wei and the other NCOs stoning at the SALT Centre. Went to play basketball with Kliven and Jonathan. Also saw Jia Ming and one other NPCC senior which I don't remember the name. Kliven and Jonathan pwned me and Jia Ming flat lorh. Then Zhen Wei came and replaced me and pwned them flat. Zhi Ming came a while after then we took 174 to Orchard at around 3:20 Went to buy the movie tickets first, then went to stroll around Plaza Singapura. Those that couldn't turn up sure missed out on such a hilarious movie (some parts are touching). Went home at around 8 after some more TCS. Continued with the TCS at night on MSN, but I think its getting more and more boring, as less and less secrets are well... secretive. Woke up today with a bloody aching ankle, and the patch didn't work at all. My pinky also hurts like hell, caught in a Jonathan + basketball + Kliven crash yesterday. Great, now I may not even be able to walk to see the New Year Countdown. But well, if I really want to, there's always TV.

Biking

Went biking today at ECP. Met with Zhen Wei at Eunos at 9AM then I cycled to ECP while he ran behind me (pwnz right?). My bicycle is like quite screwed today... The seat became so horribly loose that I can wiggle left, right, up and down with ease. Same goes to the handlebars which is amusingly able to tile up and down. Went to ECP after some hurdles with a rusty and shaky fence. The bike rental guy was kind enough to lend me a spanner and a hexogonal screwdriver for me to tighten up my seat and handlebars. Kliven and Jonathan came to Macs to eat breakfast, Zhen Wei joined them also so I was stoning there... Then went to rent bikes and stuff. Just came out from the rental shop not long then my bicycle chain broke. Like WTH. Then spent about 40 minutes finding a person to fix it. It a huge waste of everyone's rental time sooooo sorry... Then rode to Changi Village. I kept lagging behind along the Airport Road. Didn't occur to me that I lack that much stamina. Reached Changi Village at around 12:20PM. Ate at some supposedly famous chicken rice stall. Zhen Wei graciously half-treated everyone. The ride back was the same with me lagging behind, and Zhen Wei and Jonathan pacing Kliven. Sometimes infront, sometimes behind. Reached back at ECP at around 4:10PM. Went to return the bikes then sat down at Macs for a TCS. Apparently they all ganged up and target me for all the niaoing. I should say that Kliven is lucky that I'm not a person who get worked up easily, otherwise he DIE... Lol JK. More TCS while walking towards the bus stop. Parted ways as they were taking bus and I'm cycling home. Then just past Eunos, the chain broke AGAIN and I was like WTH!!! (Ok I said something much worse...) Darn... Supposed to reach home by 7PM (as in ETA) then in the end reached home at 8PM. Went to see another bicycle shop uncle. He's very nice, fixed my chain, adjusted the gear changer for me and even adjusted the back brakes for a low price. And now I found out why I lagged behind... The back brakes were touching the wheels all the time! One push of the pedal will only make the wheels go round for 3 times -.- WTH x 10000. Fixed it and went home.

Boxing Day!

Today's Boxing Day yay! The day to open up presents that you recieve on Christmas! Somehow Zhi Ming does not believe my explanation that Boxing Day is called so because you open boxes (presents), but I confirmed it with Jon. Kinda lame but its the tradition.

Omg Duel Masters

Went to Jonathan's house to play basketball today. Found him having lunch at KFC and met up with Kliven and Zhen Wei shortly after. Then Jonathan's family went by, they were going to eat at Jack's Place while poor Jonathan ate at KFC XD. Played basketball with 2 guys who looked very pro. They lost though because apparently I was pushed to their team... Didn't want to play too much as my eyes are like totally red and can't even open them fully. The 5v5 game was exciting enough though I think that all of the opponents were not playing seriously more than half of the time. After that went to Jonathan's house to play Duel Masters. My deck is like hopelessly outdated and lost almost all the games (up to DM-3 only). Jonathan's mum is very nice and bought us dinner, Zhen Wei left earlier for his reunion dinner (kind of makes me wonder why I'm not with my family...). Playing Duel Masters was super funny with me and Zhi Ming screwing around. Jonathan was also lame enough to go to great lengths just to explain that 2 sentences was typed by me on MSN (and apparently it doesn't really matter). Bus ride home was EXTREMELY cold. I think the bus's aircon was on fullblast + it just rained outside + its at night. Brrr... Having to go for NPCC activities tomorrow really spoils the mood though... On a brighter side, my mum may buy me a new bicycle yay! And I'm planning to cycle to East Coast Park next Saturday XD!

Biking

Went biking today at Pasir Ris Park. Somehow the place was very hard to find, and added with the wrong directions given to me, I was late about 30 mins. So first went to Downtown East to eat at Subway. Subway is totally wierd to order from... but at least I tried before and got a decent meal in the end. Went to the bicycle rental shop next, $6 for 2 hours seems rather expensive though... Rented one bike for each person, but Zhen Wei and Yun Shu don't know how to ride a bike. Zhen Wei had a little bit of experience and his skill in iceskating sure did him well and he learned it within 30 mins or so? Yun Shu was the tougher nut to crack. took about an hour and half to get her to even cycle without support. In the end both can ride a bicycle lar, abit wobbly but still an achievement to learn it withing 1 day. After finally getting Yun Shu to cycle, we went around Pasir Ris Park. Rode to the beachside where it is super windy. Went down to the water to look at the sea. Yun Shu and Zhen Wei got into a mini water fight, and Du Xuan was busy dodging lol. After a short stay by the beach rode back to the rental shop, like so fast 3PM already. After that took MRT from Pasir Ris. I got off at Tampines and walked with Yun Shu to the bus stop. She said some really interesting stuff along the way too. Oh and she's a super J-walker -.- Hopped on my usual 67 and went home.

Sian lar I lazy write about yesterday, theres already like 3 different versions... Just so happen today got marshaling so sian... wanted to sleep late. Luckily the bus waiting is smooth or else I really can kill someone le. Sian now I'm kind of stuck with too many responsibilities... Can't handle them all and procrastination always gets the better of me. Well I can't say I'm in the worst of moods... I see plenty of emo kids around MSN...

Lying to friends isn't good. But what else can I do, I also want to live peacefully.

Deadly Iron

Just bought the new Sec 4 uniform a couple of days ago. Taking them out they look TERRIBLE. Totally crumpled. You'll see those who bothered to iron their uniform on Jan 1st alight. Damn myself for suddenly saying that why not I iron the uniform. Damn myself for forgetting to ask dad to help before he went back china. Damn myself for getting plastered by the iron about 5 times. Geesh... not only that, I've got 3 whole sets to iron!

Such a burn is called a dry burn.
It is also the most painful type.
Direct heat transfer causes blood to boil literally.
And it leaves no trace at all.
Ouch.
And putting your hand in ICE COLD water does not help either, unless your goal is to get hypothermia or lose a hand.

Badminton

Went to play badminton at Marine Parade CC today. Before that ate at some fancy food court that is really expensive. Also went to Giant to pick up some drinks and snacks. Zhen Wei being the nice guy decides to buy a pack for the girls. Supposedly booked one court from 1-3 PM, but ended up using 2 courts partially and playing from 1-6 PM. Quite fun overall, especially last 3v3 (Me, Zhen Wei and Joyce / Hanissa (left halfway) VS Shermaine, Kliven and Jonathan) match. Kliven and Zhen Wei's "confrontation over the net" was super funny. Jonathan was the unfortunate meat shield, and I myself got marked in the face by Jonathan. Kliven also invented some ritual of passing the shuttlecock around and no one serves / clashes rackets with Jonathan was quite irritating but then again its too fun to let Kliven spoil it. Went home at 6PM. Took 196 with jonathan, Kliven and Zhen Wei back to Bedok Interchange. Ok so another fun day, and can probably offset my 8 days 3 buffets 1 Swensens spree.

哭笑不得

Went to Sakura again... eat until siao le. This time though the whole family went, dad came back from China few days ago. Eat until dam full... think can skip dinner le. After that went bowling, for the first time ever, I pwned my dad flat hehe.

Should reconsider going for UGBC lol.

Dad's back

Yay my dad's back from China, for 1 week only though sadly. This week is like so pampered, 3rd time eating good food today. Went to Swensens! Aww... the food so nice, baked rice and seafood langsana. My mom as usual... window shopping all the way... Me and dad just stone -.- Played badminton too... I would say I'm catching up to him. 1 week seems short... might go on some trip overseas. Luxury cruise yay! Not sure yet, everything is ghostly... half-planned, half not planned. So maybe miss Thursday, maybe not. Still unsure. Either way would be fun though.

*pukes* Buffet again

This time at Sakura. Good... now i can dao cx's request. Eat until damn full... sian lar... 2nd buffet in 7 days... Nvm... originally wanted to go bowling, but then the place was super ulu and it was going to rain already, so skip. *Gutter queen anyway... surely waste money ^^* Eh... walked to the MRT... like half rain half dry... Super hot and sweaty. Talk about walking in the rain sia... ^^. Fun nonetheless.

Movie outing

Went out again with zm, zw and kliven. Kliven is WTH late, and unfortunate me has to wait for him. Arrivd like half an hour late... Kliven ar... I'm sure he will be late on his real dates ar... Went to play basketball at the court below Shaun's house. Ok lar... restricting long pants. Played with some pro guy and 3 other primary school kids... Kliven got ole'd twice -.- Got zw and zm around so obviously owned. Talk cock a while, play with the stuff at the SENIOR's corner ahem and then went to eat. 1.5L bottle for each of us woots. Zm bought green tea... I heard drinking to much tea is not good for your... ahem "health". Went to check out the movie timings then went to eat. The whole place under construction can't find stuff easily... Very tempting to go up to the Mac counter and ask, "Erm... may i know where is KFC?" Kenpachi's Fried Chicken FTW lol. After lunch went to watch Beverly Hills Chihuahua. I would say my first impression of it and after watching it was quite different. I first thought it was a kiddie movie, budden it was actually quite nice. And of course the whole story is quite grown up... sort of like zw's played by doggies and without the rejection part. lol. Played truth or dare afterwards... obviously kliven is a victim... Ahh nvm... all the answers are all so... "politically correct". Went home with kliven. Took MRT and stayed ahead of the rain haha... Now its pouring like mad.
