Basically another fei day... Im starting to feel sian abt this... Stress of exams, stress of stressing stuff, stress of mugging. Physics lesson Joshua got kicked out for the 3rd time... I DID MY WORK omg... So I got to stay... Bio lesson, fei. Ponned IHE to go dental checkup. Zhi Ming totally owned by needing 40 minutes of polishing + drilling + appointment to go for filling. Zai... Fei all the way until after school. Decided I'm still too headached to bother with IS lesson, so went to KAP. Mug and mug and mug until I finished my 2007 Physics Paper OMG... Zhen Wei was busy niaoing pple, helping pple solve qns and busy buying tonnes of snacks despite of a large meal... Zhi Ming left early cos Shaun keep niaoing him about __. Lawl... If it ain't true den y so worked up... If it is... hmm... shan't bother. Mug and mug and mug, slept for a while "polar bear hibernating" i heard Shaun say -.- Went home at 7+ IS research doing with Kieth and John I think... Cryptology involves bloody math equations... Ima die le...

MAF 2008

Mid-Autumn Festival 2008. The lessons before that was totally lame, nothing much to say about them... After school we (Zhen Wei, Kliven and Zhi Ming) went to SALT Centre super early to start preparations. Zhi Ming wanted to mug there, but got distracted by all sorts of stuff such as Chong We playing DotA on his laptop and Zhen Wei pumping his squad. After that we went to play street soccer and got totally thrashed by Zhen Wei and Shaun. First things that we did were to bring down tables and chairs to the SALT Centre parade square. The Logistics committee and Programs committee did not discuss which classroom to take from in the first place, so we just took some from SC2 since I know the code to the door. After that went to cover the tables with a giant piece of paper. I took one table and soloed while listening to music. I dropped my earpiece foam cover though T.T After decorating the tables which eventually made up the individual game stalls, we went to put up the lantern decorations. The coil of steel wire was super hard to manupilate and keeps getting tangled up. But eventually we managed to tie 3 lamposts together into a triangle and hang lanterns on them. Went to change out of my then sweaty uniform and then slacked around. Then Jonathan came back with a large bag of food. Almost all of the organising team ordered from him food, only I was busy hanging lanterns and got left out T.T After waiting for Zhen Wei to finish his lunch, Zhen Wei and I went to meet up with the RGS guests.

This year there are only 7 guests in total, 5 from RGS and 2 from SJI. Anyway Zhen Wei and I attended to the RGS people first. If I'm not wrong, the names of the RGS people are Du Xuan, Yun Shu, Shermaine, Jaslyne and Amelia. The last two are secondary 2 juniors of theirs. Du Xuan said that they are going to be the future chairperson / vice chairperson. Haha like that almost all that came are part of their ExCo, except Yun Shu lol XD. Still can't believe Cheryl Koh is vice chair though. So firstly we took them to the registration booth to register duh lol. Then we brought them to see our NPCC room, they were actually amazed by how big it was and how much stuff it has like the mock M16 rifles. I guess we took the things we have for granted already. After that I consulted with a worried looking Hong Kang (MAf committee chair) and decided to bring them around the school first since the games were not ready yet. The first walk around the school wasn't too scary, it was still 6+ and wasn't too dark yet. We went to places like the Borading School, the canteen, the Gym, the air rifle range, the squash courts, SC2 and Drama Centre before returning to the SALT Centre. The sec 2 juniors seem to have the wrong impression that the Drama Centre is haunted, well its the Kah Kee Hall that is.

Zhen Wei first recommeneded the RGS people to go to the stall where you guess the weight of the pomelo. Yun Shu was super funny and kept wanting to cheat. Shermaine was begging Wei Lin for hints too XD. Well they were pretty good at it, got the first one correct. After that was the 猜灯谜, Yun Shu got it correct lol, and guessing all of the questions correct you'll get Zhen Wei lol. Song dedications was superb also, alot of suggestive song titles. Shermaine and Yun Shu played along also, dedicating Romeo and Juliet from Du Xuan and friends to "all". They also went to try some of the other stalls, throwing tennis balls, making letters out of candles and shuttle run. Shermaine was super funny in the shuttle run, taking an astonishing 19.4 seconds to finish 15M. Lol, she wasn't really trying. After playing some of the games, we decided to take another night walk since it was really dark then. We brought along lanterns and light sticks for illumination, reminds me of the "went night hike" campfire song. Took them "all" (alot of other people went along other than the RGS guests) to see the clock tower. The stairs on the ground floor was uber dark and got Jaslyne scared lol. Unfortunately couldn't find the super dark stairs nor the access to the clock. After that went to see the computer labs and the art block. Again having 6 labs full of 40 computers each wowed the guests again, we took it for granted already. The art block was fun and uber dark. Too bad the windows were covered up, or else it would be fun to let them have a peek inside and let them scare themselves XD. After that went back to SALT Centre.

At the SALT Centre, Yun Shu got bored and decided to play truth or dare with the group. She was the first one to get and she chose dare. So Zhen Wei called Yuan Feng over XD. She had to say "Hi" to Yuan Feng. Why was it a "dare" I shall not comment lol. Next I tio and I chose dare also. All I had todo was shout "I am gay" into the mic. Hmm... what better of me than to pull Zhen Wei into the water also? So I shouted "Zhen Wei! I am gay!". Zhen Wei got also, but I forgot what he did... The second time I tio Zhen Wei wanted me to call Jia Yuin and say "Hi", too personal liao cannot... The SJI people also got 1 time each. One of them had to finish 3 mooncakes and the second one has to shout "I fantasize about Cheryl everynight". LOL, poor Cheryl, though Shermaine says he really does "harrass" Cheryl.

After playing truth or dare was cleanup time. Zhen Wei and I went around doing saikang and left the guests at the NPCC room. Original plan was to eat supper outside but the guests left first because they thought we were going to take a long time. Oh well nevermind, but I was still super hungry because I missed dinner. On second thought, eating outside will surely cause me to stay till after 12 and miss the last bus home. I guess it would be the same situation if Zhen Wei and I went to eat with the guests. So I went home taking 67, quite boing and fell asleep.

Total Failure

Life has been that recently. A TOTAL FAILURE... Not just in results, but also in other aspects... Mugging attempt, FAIL... Doing homework, FAIL... Mugging at KAP, TRIPLE FAILURE.

This one has some wierd Mid-Autumn Festival poem. Do westerners even celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival? If they don't then this poem is surely crap.

Maths Test

OMG!!!

For once I have a good feeling about a maths test... "A good feeling" refers to losing up to 10 marks, aka A1. But hey, I'm always wrong when it comes to test predictions... Examples such as sure failing IHC and instead got 14/20; scoring high for physics and instead getting 19/35. This sort of things sucks... After school went to KAP to mug. Got owned in chemistry as always... Is there such thing as Fe2(SO4)3??? Doesn't seem possible... Went home with Kliven.

Wow... my shortest post ever... possibly because I dam frustrated now... Not gonna mug... not gonna do hw... procrastinate... wait for EVERYTHING...

English lesson was superb, seeing Darius and Joshua debate... The opposition totally pwned the proposition, though through some weird "prejudice" from Mrs Lee, she thinks that the proposition is better.

Physics lesson got pwned back, Mrs Ng kicked us out of class for not completing past year physics papers. Zhi Ming still can joke, say that we are dam OUTstanding...

IS lesson today was totally fei. Could've gone home at 2PM to mug. Discussion on next year project group and title. WTH... Zong Han and Shi Kai gone... I do what crap... I shall think about the topics that I like.

Nu Hope - Last Week

Today is last week of the NU Hope CIP, aww so sad. Arrived at 7:30AM as usual, and started pumping balloons. Zhi Ming and Zhen Wei arrived one after another and we all started pumping balloons. This week special got long balloons that can be twisted into various shapes. Chen Xu came shortly afterwards and he and I started combining long balloons into interesting shapes. Chen Xu self proclaimed to be the chief designer, although he strongly lacks artistic sense. He also doesnt know how to match colours to make nice designs lol. We made quite alot of interesting shapes together, all started when I made a ring around an orange balloon and called it Jupiter XD. (Wait... Does Jupiter have rings?) We also experimented with a few failed designs from Lin Kai, especially her flower which looked like a cactus XD. First success was at making a flower shape that actually looked like a flower. Next a ring of leaves was added. And finally a heart shaped balloon was added on top for a finishing touch. It was quite good actually, considering I've never done balloon sculpturing before i my life. Next design was quite nice also, but fails the practicality test. It started out with a supposed flower that was unfortunately of the wrong colour. Chen Xu suggested me to make it into a hat. I added a ring to sit on top of the head, and a ring across to hold the "flower" in place, and the Doraemon hat was born! Of course the most common design would be the dog shape. Some of the more failure ones would be the love design. The design consisted of 2 people kissing under a heart shape. Theoretically it would be quite nice unfortunately this time I got the colour scheme wrong. I made the heart shape out of purple colour balloon... International colour for gays... Oh wells... The rest of the day was pretty much typical, I shall separate the highlights below.

1) Yeu Jia brought her guitar
Unfortunately she only knows 8 songs XD. Although considering that she self learnt how to play guitar thats quite pro already. Multi-talented too as she learns piano.

2) Cao Yun baked for the volunteers
Cao Yun took the time and effort to bake food for us to eat. I don't know how to call it but it looks like kisses chocolates coated with chocolate on the bottom. I don't know why bottom lol, it made a mess of the container. Overall very nice, judging from the contents she poured into the batter, I guess this time would be Diabetes. Lol just joking. Appreciates her effort!

3) Lin Kai tries to learn to play the guitar
Lin Kai is very keen in learning how to play the guitar. Unfortunately she always gets the chords wrong and makes different sounds than Yeu Jia. Probably due to her lack of experience and short fingers XD. She can't even cover 3 spaces with 3 fingers XD.

4) Cao Yun on rampage
Halfway during the course of the CIP, Cao Yun suddenly started playing with the balloons and filling them up with water. I took a pump and filled a balloon with 70% air and 30% water. Cao Yun was holding it and threatening Zhen Wei. I meanwhile took a pencil and went to burst the balloon. She got erm... slightly wet XD. She then turn into rampage mode and went after me with a air pump filled with water. After dodging around for a few minuted I got bored and let her spray me.

5) 2 Little lemons
Happened before Cao Yun's rampage when she filled 2 yellow balloons with water. She filled them just enough so that it can be tied up. Hanging it from your hands and putting them side by side, they just resembles... *ahem* . In Chen Xu's hands, the lemons swaps gender...

6) Jia Yuin's balloon pops
Jia Yuin had a nicely decorated orange balloon around her bag, entrusted to Yeu Jia for caretaking. Meanwhile, Yeu Jia was mugging Physics with her friend and didn't notice the balloon flying away. It flew to near the plants there and I went to pick it up. Just when my hand is about to touch the balloon, it popped and a piece of the balloon slapped my hand super pain. Can't really help... Sorry lor... But before she came back I pumped another orange one to compensate. Cao Yun decorated it in her own style XD. Also quite funny to see Jia Yuin whine over it XD.

7) Balloon within a balloon within a balloon
In an effort by me to censor the 2 little lemons and partly from Chen Xu's ego, he challenged me to put the little lemons into another balloon. I gave up trying because my finger was cut and dam painful already. Chen Xu on the other hand stretched open another balloon and stuffed a little lemon inside. He then went on to stuff it into another balloon. I pumped up both outer layers with air and it became a balloon within a balloon within a balloon. The balloon had some wierd physics and falls super fast.

Thats basically all of the highlights and funny things that happened today. Since this is the last week for the CIP, I shall also recount some of the things that I have gotten from the CIP I have attended.

Stuff from Prism Of Colours:

Keychain ~ Most affordable merchandise XD Surely gotten more than 1. 1 hanging on my wallet; can't find the others XD.

Post-it pad ~ Of most use for its price. Got 1 under the persuasion of Kliven.

Pen ~ 2nd most useful for its price. Got 1 for donating. First thing from CIP.

Balloons ~ Supposedly have 2, but didn't take any because it would be wierd to walk around with balloons XD.

Wristbands ~ Have 1, influenced by Zhi Ming to buy 1 during one of the times at orchard. Still miss the sweet talk there XD.

Long term service awards ~ Postcards, have 2, my own and Jia Yuin's. Heard that they are going to make another set for Jia Yuin so I don't know what todo with Jia Yuin's. It says: "LONG TERM SERVICE AWARDS! Zhu Chun Qi (Attendence 5/5)". Not just full attendence, full hours too. 8AM to 6PM for 4 days and 6PM - 9PM for the night sales. Shall not comment on whats on the other side though... and why Jia Yuin's is given to me by Cao Yun...

All sorts of illnesses and discomforts ~ From Cao Yun's "motivational foods". Just joking... her "motivational foods" are ok, some are nice.

Balloonphilic ~ Addiction / love for balloons.

Ordeal @ Singtel Tampines

So elated that I got my new handphone that I almost forgot to talk about the ordeal at Singtel. Went to Singtel Tampines at 12:00PM right after lunch. Queued up for a queue number all the way until 12:24PM. Got number 1042, then was serving number 1012. Stoned around for 15 minutes and the number went up to 1014. Went around to do window shopping for 30 minutes and came back and the number was 1016. After the number reached only 1017 at 1:30PM, some customers got pissed off real badly and went to complain to the manager. The manager dam shrewd, said need 30 minutes to get more people. When the customer really flared up, he got a new counter started in 1 minute -.- Oh I didnt explain why theres so much people anyway. Singtel has exclusive distribution right to the new iPhone 3G and 80% of the counters were dedicated to serving iPhone customers. Ok fine enough ranting, I shall sum up. Reached Singtel Tampines at 12:00PM, left at 5:00PM. I want a iPhone though.

Playing Dota with Zhi Ming is uber fun. It's essentially a 1 VS 3 Insane AI as he was on the phone the whole game. He fed when he's smsing, and afked while on the phone. Lv 16 while I was Lv 25 was the result. Wow... Nvm still owned...

Chemistry Test

Today is SUPPOSEDLY a HOLIDAY. Which part of HOLIDAY says biology lesson and Chemistry Test? Oh well shucks... Arrived in school at 7:45AM just in time for biology lesson, thought I would be late. Shocked to see no one in SC2, and only Xun Da slowly walking. Opened door and slacked inside, turned aircon on full blast. At 8:05AM Mrs Goh walked in, shocked to see only 6 people present. The others streamed in at 8:10AM, said that they were slacking somewhere else. Biology lesson was fun as always, though can't talk among ourselves too much because of SC1's wierd ecoing. Anyway the gang was talking crap, saying that Kliven is a beaver I don't mind. Saying that Yeujia likes beavers is wierd, but also fine. But getting me involved... that puts me off. Anyway I pwned the biology teacher, answered all questions correctly even though I'm not listening at all. Biology test paper also returned, another epic B3. After biology lesson was chemistry test. Zhi Ming walking in with the posuer style lol. Did some last minute mugging. The test paper was exactly 8 pages long as Zhi Ming guessed. The test was utterly difficult, in my case for not studying anyway. For the first time ever, I got to witness Zhi Ming struggling in a chemistry test. He wasn't able to answer some of the calculations questions which even I could do, stunned me. Of course he pwned me in the theory parts though, which took up a majority of the marks.

After chemistry test went to KAP. Zhen Wei was saying that Cao Yun and Jia Yuin would be there, only to realise afterwards that he was only joking. Zhi Ming also double confirmed that Jia Yuin would be at Coronation. However, when we got to KAP, shock... Jia Yuin was THERE. Also saw Yuan Feng and Sze Yuan there. Tried to find a table to fit all 5 of us but can't find any. Kliven smart and suggested the party area, just to get scolded by the cleaner. Zhi Ming also act cute climb under the table, the chairs were firmly stuck to the ground and so was Zhi Ming LOL. Went to some other place to sit. After eating the two groups discussed about how to fill up the logbook. Group 1: Jonathan, Kliven and Zhen Wei. Group 2: Sze Yuan, Yuan Feng and Zhi Ming. Lol I am useless there! Actually no lar, the semifinal website of both groups is done by me lol. During the whole discussion, Kliven was staring at Jia Yuin... Don't know whats with him, likes to stare at girls... Also concluded that Kliven is a beaver, a nickname given to him supposedly by Yeu Jia. After lunch Yuan Feng persuaded us to go play pool (aka billards).

Pool is very fun. Especially when its your 3rd time playing. You get owned like crap. I played against Yuan Feng and Sze Yuan, with them having double turns for each of them. In the end, even with this handicap, I still won the first and 3rd match. I also had some spectacular shots, some tricks and some tyconess. Sze Yuan was PURE tyco, being the first time playing for him. After playing pool went to see Zhen Wei, Zhi Ming, Jonathan and Kliven playing DotA. Not sure how Kliven play de, his level is HALF of Zhen Wei's. After that Tian Hao joined in, and got owned by Zhen Wei. Tian Hao: "why he cant die de?" Zhen Wei: *points at his ring of health* Me: *Laughs at Tian Hao's ring of regeneration* After that got one uber funny / pissing thing happened. Shall not elaborate except that I was uber pissed. Had trouble going home... Overall had a fun day, just now played dota and was treated like a tower by Zhen Wei and Chong We. Guess I'm promoted from a feeder to a tower? Zhi Ming feeder jiayou!
